Our Gazebo - At the Farm

When we run out of material or work on the main house we work on our side project 'The Gazebo'.
The gazebo will be our entertainment area, our conference facility where we can host earth building or other greenie type training/seminars, weddings, parties, drumming, socials, etc.
As you can see, it is constructed with a combination of Cob (mud & straw), & rock sourced from the farm.
Here you can see some of the Insynch guys mixing cob and in the background you can see an earth/clay oven taking shape.

Hey Alastair,

way to go, it's very cool!
Mind if I provide a link to it from the opensynergy site?

You've inspired me to give blogging a try, too.

The model of your house looks awesome - what a huuuge project!

ok,

all the best,

flo

Dear Alastair,

Great concept, and we wish you all the best in your venture! What kind of roof are you planning?

At our age, and given your skull discoveries, have you made provision for funerals and burials? A campsite for "Townies" would also be a good idea!

All the Best,

Rob
